What do you do when the enemy is closing in, your back is against the wall, and you can't see a way forward? Trust God—because your impossible situation may be exactly where He is preparing to make a way.
In this Truck Cab Devotional, Aaron dives into Exodus 14 and the story of Moses, the Israelites, and the parting of the Red Sea to uncover a powerful lesson about trusting God in difficult times, overcoming fear, walking by faith, and obeying God when the path ahead looks impossible.
Israel had Pharaoh's army closing in behind them and the Red Sea directly in front of them.
There was nowhere to run.
No visible escape.
No human solution.
BUT GOD.
Sometimes what looks like aimless wandering may actually be God's leading.
What feels like being stuck may actually be God's preparation.
And what looks like an impossible path forward may be exactly where God is preparing to demonstrate His power.
Fear Not. Stand Firm. Trust God.
In Exodus 14:13–14, Moses tells the Israelites:
"Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD."
And then comes this incredible reminder:
"The LORD will fight for you."
Israel had already witnessed God's miraculous power. They had watched Him deliver them from slavery in Egypt. They were being led through the wilderness by the pillar of cloud and pillar of fire.
Yet when circumstances became frightening, they immediately began questioning God.
How often do we do the same thing?
We pray:
"God, use me."
"God, lead me."
"God, get me out of this situation."
Then God starts moving, the road becomes uncomfortable, and suddenly we're wondering why He brought us there.
But just because you don't understand where God is leading doesn't mean God isn't leading.
Sometimes Faith Means Moving Forward
Then God asks Moses a surprising question:
"Why do you cry to me?"
God had already demonstrated His faithfulness.
He had already demonstrated His power.
Now it was time to move forward in obedience.
There are moments when faith means standing firm and waiting on God.
But there are also moments when trusting God means taking the next step even when you can't see what happens afterward.
Moses obeyed.
God parted the Red Sea.
The Israelites walked across on dry ground.
And the enemy they thought was going to destroy them was completely defeated by the power of God.
God made a way where there appeared to be no way.
God Goes Before You—and Stands Behind You
One of the most powerful details in Exodus 14 happens before the Red Sea even parts.
The presence of God that had been going before the Israelites moves behind them, standing between God's people and the Egyptian army.
Think about that.
The God who was leading them forward was also protecting them from behind.
God hadn't abandoned Israel because the enemy was approaching.
He was right there in the middle of it.
Throughout this Truck Cab Devotional, Aaron also explores how these events ultimately point us toward Jesus Christ and the hope, protection, salvation, and victory we have in Him.
Jesus goes before us.
Jesus stands in the gap.
Jesus is our hope.
Jesus is our salvation.
And darkness cannot overcome the Light.
When the Enemy Is Closing In…
Maybe you're facing your own Red Sea moment.
Maybe you're walking through a difficult season.
Maybe you're struggling with fear, uncertainty, spiritual warfare, a major decision, or circumstances you simply don't understand.
Maybe you know God called you forward—but now you're wondering why the road became so difficult.
Don't become so focused on what's closing in behind you that you miss what God may be opening in front of you.
Keep your eyes on Jesus.
Fear not.
Stand firm.
Trust God.
Listen to His Word.
Walk in obedience.
And when God says move…
MOVE FORWARD.
Because when circumstances say there's no way…
When fear says it's over…
When the enemy appears to be closing in…
Never forget two incredibly powerful words:
BUT GOD.

Paul's letter to the Philippians comes to a close—but its message couldn't be more relevant for today.
After a short break from our long-form episodes, Aaron and Ashley are back behind the microphones to wrap up one of the most encouraging chapters in all of Scripture: Philippians 4.
In this episode we discuss:
Why unity inside the Church matters more than winning arguments.
What Paul teaches about resolving conflict and reconciliation.
How to replace anxiety with prayer and experience the peace of God.
Why your mind is a spiritual battlefield—and how to guard it.
Learning to focus on what is true, honorable, and worthy of praise.
The secret Paul learned to remain content in both abundance and hardship.
Why Philippians 4:13 is one of the most quoted—and often most misunderstood—verses in the Bible.
Whether you're walking through uncertainty, struggling with worry, dealing with conflict, or simply looking for encouragement, this conversation is a reminder that our peace isn't found in our circumstances—it's found in Christ.
As we finish our journey through Philippians, we hope you're challenged to stand firm, rejoice in the Lord always, and live with unwavering confidence that God is faithful no matter what season of life you're in.

But in the middle of the frustration, sickness, busyness, youth ministry prep, and nonstop life moments, one truth kept standing strong: Jesus is still worth pursuing.

This episode is raw, honest, encouraging, and packed with reminders that:
Your identity is found in Christ — not the labels the world gives you
Faith is more than rules and religion
Following Jesus requires perseverance
Everything else fades, but Jesus remains
God can still use the messy, frustrating moments for His glory
Aaron also shares updates on:
The incredible growth happening through Ignite Youth Group
The upcoming Silent Disco event in Grangeville
The heart behind Undaunted Pursuit and why this ministry is bigger than one person
Why repeating the Gospel message never gets old
If you’ve been discouraged, distracted, overwhelmed, or just needing a reminder to keep pressing forward in your walk with Jesus, this episode is for you.
🔥 The pursuit continues… even when the plans fall apart.

From launching a brand-new youth group to diving deep into Philippians chapter 2, this episode is packed with truth, laughter, conviction, and powerful reminders about what it actually means to follow Jesus.
The world says:👉 “Do what makes YOU happy.”👉 “Follow YOUR heart.”👉 “Make life about YOU.”
But Jesus calls us to something completely different.
Aaron and Ashley unpack Paul’s challenge to believers to live with humility, unity, boldness, and complete trust in Christ—even when life gets hard. They tackle topics like spiritual warfare, selfish Christianity, identity in Christ, suffering for the Gospel, and why so many believers settle for a faith that only exists on Sunday mornings.

This episode is a wake-up call and an encouragement all at once:Christianity was never meant to be lukewarm, comfortable, or surface-level.
Jesus didn’t just call us to attend church…He called us to FOLLOW Him.
So the question is:Does your life actually reflect your faith?
If you’re hungry for deeper faith, stronger purpose, and bold encouragement to keep pursuing Jesus no matter the cost, this episode is for you.

This week on the Undaunted Pursuit Podcast, Aaron goes solo in a raw, late-night recording—no script, no filters, just real talk straight from the heart.
After a busy season of life, family, and stepping into a new calling as youth leaders, Aaron sits down to reflect on what God is doing—and where He’s leading next.
From exciting updates about the new youth ministry (and an unforgettable silent disco night 😄🔥) to diving deep into Philippians, this episode is both a life update and a powerful spiritual reset.
Starting in 2 Corinthians 11, Aaron walks through the hardships Paul endured—beatings, prison, shipwrecks—and asks a challenging question:
👉 How can someone go through all of that… and still write about JOY?
From there, we step into Philippians—the “epistle of joy”—written while Paul was in prison. And yet, instead of despair, we find encouragement, unity, and purpose.
This episode hits on some real, convicting truths:
Are we living lives that actually reflect Jesus… or just saying we follow Him?
Has the Church lost sight of unity in the middle of denominations and division?
Are we working for the Kingdom with urgency—or getting comfortable?
Is your life leading others toward Christ… or blending in with the world?
Aaron challenges listeners to check their hearts, step up in their faith, and stop coasting.
💥 Because the truth is simple:We don’t get a second shot at this life.
Whether you’re walking through struggles, feeling spiritually stuck, or just need a reminder of your purpose—this episode will push you to refocus, realign, and pursue Jesus boldly.
🔥 Key takeaway:“For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
